生长在曼哈顿，就读纽约哥伦比亚大学的Peter，因为3岁时祖母送的生日礼物—一架玩具钢琴，自此就沈醉在琴键之间的魅力；随着年纪的增长，更奠定自己成为爵士乐手的志向。9岁的Peter开始尝试作曲，十多岁时正式开始歌唱，并向艾利斯.马沙利斯Ellis Marsalis、詹姆斯威廉斯James Williams、克里夫科曼Cliff Korman等多位大师级人物师法钢琴。18岁推出第一张专辑，年纪轻轻的他，曾在约翰伦农词曲创作大赏以及2000年的瑞士蒙投音乐节(Montreux Jazz Festival)获奖，并曾应邀至白宫表演，已然成为爵士新生代中的顶尖人物。加上他长相俊美,又擅长柔柔的JAZZ情歌,还誉有"爵士奶油小生"的称号!!
